THACO AUTO and BMW officially announced the smart connectivity system ConnectedDrive in Vietnam. This is the most advanced digital connectivity technology developed by BMW, which helps customers control their vehicles easily through the My BMW app installed on their phones.
My BMW helps optimize all the advantages of the ConnectedDrive connectivity system. Through the app, customers can manage vehicle information, software updates, status checks, or remotely control the vehicle. BMW 3 Series will be the first lineup to be equipped with ConnectedDrive.
BMW 330i M Sport version will be equipped with ConnectedDrive, supplemented with new digital functions such as Online navigation. BMW’s map has the ability to understand users’ habits and make predictions, offering the most convenient routes to reach the wanted destination. Besides, this function allows users to look up the destination directly, users can proactively create personal routes according to daily travel preferences.
With ConnectedDrive, users can view updated weather information, open maps, activate applications, look up information,… in addition to the ability to control basic systems on the vehicle. The ConnectedDrive system also allows users to update software remotely.
The interface of the My BMW application was launched in Vietnam with 4 main tabs, including Vehicle, Map, Services & Store, and Profile. Each card will have its own interface designed to optimize features, with an intuitive and scientific interface that will help users easily get acquainted and use.
ConnectedDrive system launching in Vietnam is a new development for BMW in its strategy of reaching customers through advanced digital technologies. With the initial step being the new BMW 330i M Sport ConnectedDrive model, it is expected that in the future, the ConnectedDrive system will be equipped on many BMW vehicle models in Vietnam.
