Mercedes Benz to Showcase AI-Powered Virtual Assistant at CES 2024

MBUX Virtual Assistant will “define the future” of digital luxury

Mercedes-Benz will give a sneak peek of the new MBUX Virtual Assistant at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024 which will be held on January 9 to 12 in the United States.

Combining the MBUX intelligent systems into a single entity, this cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI)-powered feature presents an expressive new face that provides a natural, human-like interaction with the user. The “Hey Mercedes” voice assistant will be given a “whole new visual dimension” with high-resolution game-engine graphics from Unity. 

“Mercedes-Benz is reinventing the digital passenger experience by leveraging AI to offer human-like interaction with the intelligent MBUX Virtual Assistant. It includes empathetic characteristics that sync with your driving style and mood. Paired with our in-house MB.OS architecture, this approach will define the future of digital luxury,” Mercedes-Benz Chief Executive Officer Ola Kallenius stated.

Aside from the preview of the MBUX Virtual Assistant, the German luxury carmaker will also present the Concept CLA Class at CES 2024. Built on the Mercedes Modular Architecture, it provides a close-to-production insight into the upcoming four-vehicle series.

The camouflaged prototype of the electric G-Class will also make its North American debut at the event, giving attendees a preview of the iconic series’ electric future.

Mercedes-Benz will also unveil advancements in in-car entertainment, including a first-of-its-kind collaboration.
